| | January 2008 | | | | The MSD Prevention Guideline for Ontario has been released. | | | | The MSD Prevention Guideline for Ontario has now been released and is available for employers in Ontario . The Guideline and accompanying Resource Manual and Toolkit provide comprehensive guidance on establishing, implementing and maintaining a successful MSD Prevention process as part of your Occupational Health and Safety Program.
A key message in the Guideline is that “Controlling MSD hazards in a workplace is not only the right thing to do; it is the law”. The Occupational Health and Safety Act (OHSA) requires employers to ensure that workers are aware of the hazards associated with the workers\' job and workplace, and that controls are implemented to reduce the risk of injury from these hazards.
For more information on this Guideline or assistance with setting up an Ergonomics / MSD Program in your organization contact ERGO Inc. today. | | | |
